![]() ![]() From there I ran a battery cable over to the negative post. ![]() ground through each harness piece to pick up all these extra ground tags on my 'glass tub and ran them to a clamping buss connector (same kind a household fuse panel uses) above the firewall side of the fuse panel. On the back fixtures, I soldered a wire onto the inside plate for my ground which has held fine. I soldered wires onto the back of my front fixtures which lasted for a while, but vibration got to them so currently they are just hose clamped onto the back of the pigtail housing. If the grounds aren't right, some lights will work sometimes buy using 'ground theft' through other filaments. I use a battery booster cable and run it from the battery negative to things like the dash panel for testing purposes. Your dash must be grounded to the battery with a wire and the front fixtures must be grounded to the battery with a wire. HELP!!!!!Īs far as I know, you 'must' have a fuse in there for your signals, I just don't know where it is located. SO IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS SHORTING SOMEWHERE. It is located inside of the turn signal switch and is the detent for the turn signal. WHEN I TURN MY SIGNALS ON IT CLICKS ONCE AND THEN NOTHEN. The ACDelco GM Original Equipment Turn Signal Cam is a GM-recommended replacement for your vehicle’s original component. OK I JUST CHECKED TO SEE IF ANYTHING RESET AND SOMETHING DID. SO I tried tearing apart the wires and now my turns don't work at all. I had it working ealier in the day, but still the signals worked with the lights off then the when I put my headlights on the left wouldn't work. Right now I have my red wires from the back of the signals to the main white wire, then my black wires to the green / green/white turn signal wires. I re-wired the front signals but not sure if I did it the right way. Any way to check if I am getting power/turn to the front wires/rear to eliminate my switch? Lights work HI/Low and running/turn lamps, but no signals at all front or rear? Fuse maybe, but check and nothin was blown. Need some help! This is my first post so any info will help. Well Just bought a 79 CJ7 and I am working out wiring issues like any old jeep. ![]()
